I am SOOOO addicted to PINTEREST! Having spent hours oohdooling over the great projects that are posted I can't wait to start some of them. I feel quite talented in the scrapping department, but not so in the DIY projects, the cooking, the sewing the 101 other great things that look so amazing! I have this great room that we are currently using as a diningroom-which has only served as such on one christmas morning, but most often functions as my crafting area since the basement is so creepy and cold. Our current dining room is host to one very large chair, a dog cage the top part of a desk, a very large desk and home to this computer. This other room, that has my diningroom table in it really would be considered a den, but the long shape and pot belly stove make couches and other seating arrangements seem out of place and in the way, so a long diningroom table in the center makes perfect sense. Anyways, my plan is to make the diningroom the diningroom and revamp the den into my actual craft room. Thing is, the room has wood everywhere. Its a very rustic look! I would like to paint over the woodwalls- and no they are not that 1970's crappy woodlooking wall board, but real wood pannels that rest on a notty wood pine floor, add the pot belly stove and were talkin about Adorondack cabin!!! I love the Adorondacks, dont get me wrong....but it just doesnt play into the craftroom I am thinking about. I am scared to death to paint over those woodwalls...it was once presented to me by a women who convinced me that I needed to drain my INGROUND pool for the winter, that spring I was looking at the pool liner lifting from the sides and if it wasnt for the talent of my great luck find-pool guy thousands of dollars in repair. Sooooo I am a little skeptic about her suggestion to paint. I guess I will have to REALLY think that one over a big before I take that plunge. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know. Right now I am thinking I might take a trip to the local thrifty store to see if I can find any great salvages for some DIY projects. I just love the idea of refacing the furniture and cant wait to find a steal of a deal and try my hand at it. Till then.

Jan 10th 2012

Good Morning- I wish I could say that the reason I was not writing for the last week was because I was on a technological strike of some sort, but the real reason was time got away from me. Infact I am so far behind with "stuff" I failed to bring a birthday snack to my sons school yesterday. He informed me that it was another childs birthday as well yesterday and that his went unacknowledged. Don't I feel like a big POOP! and Shame on the school for not at least singing the Happy Birthday song. Scamppered this am to make a batch of easy bake cookies that had already been broken into by family cookie dough eaters...leaving the number of cookies just shy of enough for the class. Looks like I will be buying cupcakes today and making a wild dash to the school just before dismissal. His birthday party was otherwise a success as he had a big party that seemed to extend through the whole weekend....which left me with limited access to the computer as everytime I went to use this machine a youtube video singing "I love gummy bears" was chanting at me!!! I have been just as unsuccessful at most of my of my 2012 resolutions as well. Day 2, 3 and 4 was a success at the gyn, but as the week progressed there seemed to be one crisis after another. Worked coverage yesterday as my coworker had to be rushed to the ER last Friday. Still unclear if he is alright! Sunday was spent recoperating from the what seemed like a multiday birthday party....Thursday something came up with a neighbor and Monday I worked....so I never made my schedled gym dates. Today will be rushed with cupcake delivery and if Im already there I might as well take the kid home with me after.....Anyways tine to get out the door for yet another day of RUSH RUSH RUSH. Tuesdays are my Mondays and staff meeting.....I hate staff meetings....I did registar for two crafting classes scheduled in Feb. Cake making and jewerly making 101! Totally excited about this. Off I go. Sorry for the clearly; I am irritable and overwhelmed message!!! still no camera!!! Still no pictures. Have a good day...I'm woking on faking it!!!!

jan. 4th 2012

I have hit the blog four days in a row!!!!!! WOW! I spent some time last pm looking at the Jan. calander filling in dates and reminder. Plan on opening up at least four days dedicated to OPEN scrapping. Typically this has worked as the kids play...us moms scrap, catch up with one another and get some work done! All who are interested simply bring their projects, a dish to pass, and their warm and friendly faces. It has gone smoothly in the past...although often times I dont get as much work done as I intend too.. TOOO MUCH talking, not enough SCRAPPING. Dates to be posted soon. Oh no!!! time has gotten away from me!!! TTFN

Good afternoon!!!!
I have been drooling over some of these blogs and so cannot wait to jump into some home decor ideas. I collected some challenges from the CTMH website, and some blogs I follow and did three cute cards and completed two layouts. Wishing I had my camera back from Nikon so I could show them off!!! Missed registering for the cake classes for this month, but gonna hit the OPEN house at Joannes this weekend to see what they might have for classes at 50% off. Got an instant message from a CTMH friend asking about my committment to CONVENTION this year!!!! Guess its a done deal cause it looks like she got plane tickets. I'm super excited, I'm just worried about the finances. My hubby says...GO FOR IT!!!! Guess thats why I am married to him. So far 2012 is looking pretty good.

Jan. 2, 2012

Hi! Everyone recoperating from the Holidays? Setting goals are so difficult. I did make it to the gym yesterday, I have not yet spent a dine in 2012. I started a calender project, which I am not happy with as the colors blead through. I did some soul searching as well as some pintrest looking/wishing. Plan for the day is to get to Zumba Aquatics, clean the house..deChristmasize anyways, and spend the afternoon crafting. The evening will be the hard work as I attempt to get the troops back into school mode! Camera is broken...an $87- fix according to Nikon. Hubby reports he will take care of the bill as an anniversary present!!!! ten years Yesterday!!! Yeah! I am impressed. Anyways.....off to pursue a new day!!!! Happy New Year and may all have strength to keep to their goals of the day!!!

Happy New Year-2012

Although I have been "blogging" for a few years now, it appears that this fad or means of communication has continued to be popular and as a New Years Resolution, I am going to attempt to make thist site more of a part of my routine. Perhaps a little cliche I have decided to make the 1st my starting point. So first off!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR and all that Stuff!!!! Welcome and Hello again!!!! In addition to the blog being a part of my routine, I have decided that I am going to work on at least one craft project a week throughout the year. I am sure that I will find myself caught up in another weekly crafting idea as well, but as I don't want to putter out my first week, I am starting with a fairly broad committment to one craft project a week. At current, I have nothing on the craft table ready to go...I have tons and tons of ideas, but nothing in mind. If you have suggestions I would love to see them, but until then off to pinterest to exam some great ideas. Happy New Year again, I am so looking forward to connecting with you and maybe get to know myself a little better as we progress through 2012 together.
